Virginia Carr Schneider
Insights Associate
Virginia joined Slingshot in October 2025. Prior to joining Slingshot, Virginia served as a graduate assistant and instructor at Georgia State University, where she is finishing her PhD in Public Management. Virginia began her career in the nonprofit space by helping build pathways for young adults experiencing poverty in Memphis to achieve socioeconomic mobility.
Virginia’s research focused on administrative burdens in poverty governance, and she is passionate about building a robust social safety net that centers equity and the dignity of those it serves. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rhodes College.
