Moore Tech: Impact Study Update

Moore Tech is a nonprofit provider of career & technical education that strives to provide students with the training and skills necessary to become successful in business and industry. The school fights poverty by equipping individuals with the skills to access technical jobs that offer greater stability and higher wages. Students can earn certificates, diplomas, or associate’s degrees through occupational skills curriculum and on-the-job training via apprenticeships and internships. Moore Tech created over $2.30 in estimated poverty-fighting benefits for each dollar it spent. The model used for its automotive track creates disproportionate benefits through a combination of industry partnerships, apprenticeships, and paid internships during the program.
